About the Lecturer role
Are you looking for a career change, or are you an experienced lecturer looking to work in a college committed to becoming outstanding? Our client seeks a self-motivated and confident individual to deliver high quality teaching to students with a wide range of skills, knowledge and abilities.
This exciting role will see you designing and delivering Construction Crafts courses (predominantly brickwork and multi-skills) to a wide range of learners, in both practical and theoretical settings. You will be committed to passing on your skills to others, supporting them at every step of their learning journey.
What they’re looking for in their Lecturer
As the successful candidate, you will hold qualifications at level 3 or Advanced Craft in Brickwork, and be able to demonstrate an in- depth subject knowledge. You will also have a range of additional construction related skills which will allow you to teach students many different aspects of basic construction and maintenance.
Experience of lecturing or assessing is desirable, but full training would be available for highly motivated candidates who can demonstrate suitable industrial knowledge, and passion for working within the further education sector, training the next generation of the industries workforce.
