Following a sustained growth, this market leader in its field is looking to enhance its Finance Team.

Working in their modern office in North Oxford. This role is varied and the Finance Assistant will be confident in the use of Sage Accounting, have knowledge of HMRC Guidelines. The successful applicant will have solid accounts experience, a good telephone manner and be flexible in their approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Processing Employees Expense Claims, in line with Company Expense Policy and HRMC Guidelines.
- Processing Employee Timesheets and Mileage Claims, in line with Company Policy and HMRC Guidelines.
- Ensuring that all claims are valid and authorised for posting and payments.
- Assisting with the processing of both Sales and Purchase Ledgers and Month End activities.
- Preparing Monthly Reports as requested by Financial Controller.


- Ability to work accurately to deadlines, with attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel experience as well as working knowledge of MS packages.
- Ability to organise and prioritise work load.
- Able to multi task effectively showing initiative and being prepared to take ownership of projects and tasks.


- Good knowledge of HMRC Guidelines
- Sage Accounting experience

This role is initially a temporary position which may lead to a permanent role.
