The role I am recruiting for one of our key clients, who are actively seeking a multi-skilled engineer to cover 3 sites in the Bexley area. Day to day you'll be responsible largely for PPMs as well as come reactive maintenance, and this can involve emergency lighting, high level lighting and tending to AHUs. There is free parking at all of the sites, and if you need to travel between the sites during the day you'll be provided with a pool van. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8 - 5, and you'll be placed on a call-out rota every 1 week in 3, as well as receiving regular overtime on the weekend in order to perform essential maintenance which needs to be done out of hours. What you'll need: - Demonstrable experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance of emergency lighting and AHUs within a commercial environment, ideally with experience of dealing with the general public - Electrical qualifications including 17th edition and level 2/3ElectricalCity and Guilds or NVQ qualifications, ideally via an indentured apprenticeship - A full clean driving license and your own transport to get to site in the mornings - The ability to take on extra hours outside of he usual 8 - 5 What's in it for you? - A basic salary of £30,000 per annum, and the ability to significantly increase your take home pay by taking on overtime which is paid at 1.5x your usual rate as well as being part of the on call rota which pays £110 per week - Holiday allowance of 22 days per year with bank holidays on top - The opportunity to work as part of a close knit team in 3 sites which are very close to one another What's next? This is a new position with an excellent client of mine, who will turn around interviews very quickly, with a one stage process. If you're qualified in the above and looking for work local to Bexley, then please apply with your CV to ***********************, and I will give you a call to discuss the role in more detail and hopefully secure you an interview this week.
