A highly regarded Top 100 tax boutique in West London are looking for a strong Personal Tax senior. Duties will involve preparing tax returns, assisting with general private client issues, providing tax planning advice, communicating with HMRC and liaising with clients. 4 years personal tax experience is necessary and ideally ATT qualified with excellent pass results. The firm are willing to provide support for those looking to undertake their CTA exams.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Dealing with clients which includes a mix of high profile individuals, professional persons, partnerships, entrepreneurs, and a burgeoning portfolio of non-UK domiciled clients
- Preparing tax returns for review by the Manager
- Assisting with the training and supervision of more junior members of staff
- Assisting with the general private client issues and suggesting tax planning opportunities for clients within their portfolio
- Communicating and corresponding with HMRC

- Communicating with and answering queries from clients

The Candidate

- Minimum 4 years personal tax experience
- Good general knowledge of income tax, capital allowances, employment taxes, capital gains tax and benefits, and non-doms
- A basic knowledge of capital gains tax, treatment of foreign income, capital allowances, tax credits, and inheritance tax
- Accurate work, displaying initiative with minimal supervision
- Have a proactive attitude
- Work well as a team member
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise
- Excellent communication skills
