Junior Marketing and Product Co-Ordinator

Location: Leeds

Our client is a well-established Importer supplying to a wide range of retailers who are now seeking a Junior Marketing and Product Co-Ordinator with creative flair to work within their busy creative team.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Managing Director, but working across the Sales and Product Development teams, the Junior Marketing and Product Co-ordinator will have wide-ranging responsibility supporting both marketing strategy and execution, with a focus on copywriting, web site management and content delivery.
  • Content creation – A requirement of the role will be writing copy for products and marketing campaigns, both online on social media and our website and offline (trade magazines). Budding copywriters are welcome to apply!
  • Marketing – Take a lead in creating, editing and designing marketing literature both online through mail shots, social media and offline,
  • Product Management – Once a product is developed you will be required to liaise with the photographer, upload the product onto our website, inform the sales team of the new additions and ensure that they sample is in the showroom and ready for trade shows.
  • Product Development - There will be an opportunity for the right candidate to influence and contribute in the development of new ranges and products and will be asked at times for your thoughts and opinions on the development of products. Including Developing new concepts, market research, sample mock ups and comp shopping.
  • Social Media - Manage all social media channels (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter)
  • Manage company website -

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within either online marketing / social media / content and web management. You should be familiar with using WordPress, Google Analytics and Social Media platforms will have excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
