Key Responsibilities - Assist in the development and/or integration of corporate IT systems - Support the delivery of the Digital by Default government agenda - Assist in the implementation of corporate projects - Work with other members of the IT Team and their users to ensure the continuous improvement of IT services - Provide first class browser based applications, integration and reporting systems - Provide the technical resource required to deliver projects - Secure the highest quality services within financial constraints and achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction Essential Skills - Understanding of Microsoft technologies - Knowledge of at least 3 of the following languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, PHP, XML, C#, MSSQL/MYSQL - Understanding of web server configuration - Understanding of version control - Experience with API technology Training and Progression This Council is committed to developing and training its staff in the skill sets required to deliver a modern digital platform. To that aim they will fund all training required and identified through Personal Development Plans as part of their comprehensive appraisal program. This includes any training costs with external partners and any qualification or exam costs that form part of that qualification.
