1st/2nd Line Support Engineer(1st Line, 2nd Line, AD, Active Directory, Windows, Server, TCP/IP, Service Desk, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, VMware) - Permanent - South Manchester Search IT are currently looking for a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer on a permanent basis for a very prestigious company based in South Manchester. Skills/Requirements for the 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer: * Previous experience working on a Help Desk or Service Desk * Experience of supporting Active Directory * Strong Windows Server skills * General networking skills such as TCI/IP * Experience of working with desktop Windows technologies such as Windows 7 and 8 Desirable Skills: * ServiceNOW There will be an element of travel with this role so a driving licence is essential. Start date is ASAP The 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to business users via the phone and at their desktops, identify manage and support business implementation tasks, be a key point of contact within the IT department and also have the ability to install, configure and test hardware when needed.
