Digital marketing manager for a global media company
Your new role
In this role you will be providing leadership and expertise in digital media relations, reputation management and delivery with core internal and external constituencies - staff, members and governors, community and campaigning groups and organisations. You will oversee communications and support delivery of the organisations corporate objectives and organisational values. You will play an active role in planning and strategy reporting to the director of communications. You will also ensure there is a proactive, professional, 24/7 media relations and issues management service, providing both counsel and operational support to staff at all levels across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
The organisation wants someone to come in and hit the ground running. You will need substantial years' experience of media relations. Senior level management experience, preferably within a complex organisation is required. Experience in developing story and campaign ideas and leading/managing staff are also necessary. You also need to have managed budgets. In terms of skills and knowledge you need demonstrable utilisation of all media channels - print, broadcast and digital. You need to have an ability to engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and to be able to deal positively with organisational politics.
