We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to work at the cutting edge of cloud development for some for one of the UK's fastest growing cloud first consultancies. This role will suit someone who wants to be on the cutting edge of cloud based applications, mainly AWS, and who wants to work with some of the leading e-commerce and retail banks in the UK and globally.

This role will suit a Senior Java Developer that wants to have input through the entire lifecycle of development. Typically, you will be working on the following tasks:
*Understanding customers business needs and how technology fits into this to define tech problems facing a business
*Working with the technical lead and architects to design solution to business problems
*Working with the tech lead and other developers to developer microservices, cloud deployed applications
*Taking a TDD approach to every application you work on
While this company are tech agnostic and will use the right tool for any job, their typical tech stack includes:
*Java 8

A Senior Java Developer will at a minimum have worked with Java 8, Spring, REST and Maven as well as demonstrable experience of TDD.

For the right Senior Java Developer there is a lot to be gained; firstly the salary is up to £85,000 excluding a 10% and £2,000 training budget. In addition it is a really great office to work in. Everyone sits on the floor including the CEO and there is a large amount of cross team collaboration. Socially there are plenty of team building events and an annual ski trip to enjoy.
