Position: Art and Design Teacher
Full time position available Tempest Resourcing are currently working with a PRU based in Tower Hamlets who are looking to recruit an experienced Art and Design Teacher to join their All Boys Pupil Referral Unit to work with children with EBD/Challenging Behaviour starting immediately.The school works predominantly with EBD students therefore experience working or trained within education Special Needs (EBD) would be suitable.
Being able to work in a team of other professionals is also an integral part of this role. You will need current teaching experience, a UK Teaching Qualification or NARIC Recognised Equivalent and a commitment to teaching. As part of our commitment to safeguarding children, all posts are subject to DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service), referencing checks and a face-to-face interview will be required for registration.An enthusiastic and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important. Being able to work in a team of other professionals is also an integral part of this role.What we require from you:· Strong experience working with Special Needs children· Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)· Must have a valid DBS in date (1 year)Our school is recruiting now!!
