Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) - Banff, Aberdeenshire We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our clients' fantastic care home. The staff are warm, welcoming and well trained, using their experience to provide high quality person centred care. A trained nurse is on duty 24 hours a day and they are supported by the great team of care staff. They listen to their service users and treat each one as an individual. Job Role: Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) Hours: 35.25 hour per week (days and nights) Salary: £14.30 per hour Job Description: - Report any ill health amongst clients and make requests for GP / professional visits where necessary. - Assess all aspects of clients' care needs, and provide health supervision and direct nursing care when required. - Maintain accurate records and ensure that each client within the Care Home has an individualised care plan. Client care plans to be reviewed on a monthly basis, or more frequently if required, in accordance with NMC guidelines & company policy. - Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the company's procedure and NMC guidelines. - Participate in staff and client meetings as and when required. - Establish and maintain good communication with clients, relatives and with the multidisciplinary team. - Supervise and instruct junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the Care Home, giving help and guidance where appropriate. - Attend mandatory training days/courses, on or off site, as and when required. - Report immediately to the home manager, or the person in charge, any illness of an infectious nature or accident incurred. - Understand, and ensure the implementation of the Care Home's Health and Safety policy, and Emergency and Fire procedures. What you need: - Registered PIN. - Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. - Genuine interest in working with the relevant client group. - Satisfactory PVG and references. - Team player.
