A global Science and technology leader is looking for a number of Software Engineers, with solid Java skills, to join and complement its already well-established development teams. This organisation works across a range of different markets and sectors, providing bespoke, often mission critical systems and solutions to a variety of clients

We have multiple opportunities and welcome applications from developers at all levels.

The role

Working in an Agile environment, you will be responsible for the design, development and testing of high quality software, across a range complex, enterprise level projects. You will gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and will be open to learning new methodologies and tools.

Essential skills
  • Java 7/8
  • Spring / MVC / Hibernate / JPA
  • Exposure to an Agile environment, Scrum / Kanban / XP

Desirable skills
Exposure to or knowledge of any of the following is highly beneficial,
  • Docker / Puppet / Chef / Ansible / Jenkins
  • Oracle / MySQL / Postgres
  • JavaScript
