Clinical Negligence Solicitor (1-5 years PQE)
My client has a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to work within their claimant division.
This opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join the Clinical Negligence department which represents claimants and their families following poor medical treatment.
The role will primarily involve working on new and potential instructions and duties will include handling a caseload of clinical negligence work in line with department strategy with a minimal amount of supervision. You will be expected to conduct a wide range of clinical negligence cases while maintaining a good knowledge of CPR and the law relating to clinical negligence. You will be providing advice to clients on sensitive matters and drafting witness statements and pleadings as well as reviewing medical reports and providing appropriate advice.
You should be a strong team player as you will be working with other solicitors to develop and help maintain good client relationships and knowledge within clinical negligence and dealing with highly complex conferences.
Strong organisation and time management skills are a key element to this role as is the ability to work under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines. Excellent client care skills are also a must.
My client is looking for a highly ambitious and self-motivated individual who is comfortable working within a team and on their own. The successful candidate would be a forward thinking individual whose attitude and approach to work is as important as previous experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, ambitious and established team.
