Summary We have a fantastic opportunity for a BEMS Support Engineer, reporting into the Operations Manager and responsible for ensuring that building management systems are maintained and operate correctly at customer sites through service level and commissioning tasks. The Energy Solutions team are focused on helping businesses achieve significant reductions in their buildings' energy consumption through Building Management Systems and remote support via our Energy Management Centre. We have a fantastic opportunity for a BEMS Support Engineer, reporting into the Operations Manager and responsible for ensuring that building management systems are maintained and operate correctly at customer sites through service level and commissioning tasks. Responding to customer service calls, whether they be an emergency, on-site or remotely you'll carry out a full check, analyse and diagnose the problem through testing system components, allowing you to discuss the best course of action with the customer. You'll be confident in identifying actions/equipment required and providing time-scales around the resolution and highlighting any potential upgrade opportunities. Furthermore, you will be expected to submit written service reports, time sheets and other necessary weekly information which must be delivered within time-scales specified by your manager. Excellent communication skills are essential to maintain a collaborative working environment with all stakeholders including customer and external service providers. It is expected you'll display a professional manner and a dedication to meeting customer expectations, including delivering technical support, coaching and direction. You'll be working in an ever changing environment and as such will be adaptable and flexible as there is a requirement to take part in a 24 hour on-call rota. The successful candidate will be highly experienced in two or more of the following; Siemens (Desigo/PX/Apogee); Trend; Tridium; Johnson or Cylon.
