Systems Administrator / Linux / Windows Systems Administrator / Linux / Windows needed to join an American financial business who are moving into the UK. The Systems Administrator / Linux / Windows would be joining a London based established office which is full of technical talent. The Central London office is set up with a tech start up feel to it, with the investment and backing of a hugely established American financial business. The ideal Systems Administrator / Linux / Windows will be sharp, motivated, and talented. The Systems Administrator / Linux / Windows will need to be able to take on a broad slice of the company's end-user technology environment (things like desktops, telephony, mobile devices, messaging, videoconferencing, AV, and more) while expanding into an ever-growing set of back-end systems (physical and virtual servers, networks, and storage). What's in it for you? The standard working hours for the Systems Administrator / Linux / Windows will be between 9 - 6 there is flexibility. The dream Systems Administrator / Linux / Windows doesn't need years and years of professional experience, but must be a die-hard techie and tinkerer- you could be in your first couple of years into your career. Responsibilities: - Own build, configuration, problem solving, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support across end-user technologies - Handle general systems administration across an array of back-end platforms - Participate in new technology selection, testing, and rollout - 1st-2nd line support and will quickly progress Essential Experience: - 12 - 18 months + professional experience - Solid experience with Linux and ideally Windows Server too - Experience with Networking technologies and telephony - Demonstrated ability to adeptly assess and fix technical problems.
