On Site AV VC Preventative Maintenance Engineer (CRESTRON FUSION)- In this position you will be responsible for the safe and correct diagnosis of faults, removal, repair test, implementation and operation of all aspects of audio visual including but not limited to, TV distribution, video and audio conference systems, displays, presentation technologies and AV networks associated to or found on site. You will carry out scheduled preventative maintenance, room installations, administer the faults and projects ticketing system, providing tracking and progress reports, ordering and invoicing. Skills & Experience: Minimum of (2) two years Corporate experience and (2) two years in either a Support, Engineering, Servicing, Installation or Senior Lead role within the AV industry. You will need to have a broad and strong understanding of AV equipment and how they can potentially be applied within the environment with which they are based. You must have a strong working knowledge of how Integrated Control systems (Crestron Fusion), Video / Audio, Switchers, Scalers, Audio Processors, Video Conference Codecs, Distribution Amplifiers and latest display technologies operate and be able to define their primary functions. The ability to create and read schematics and wiring diagrams. Strong fault finding and troubleshooting skills are essential. Must be able to work to tight deadlines and in a fast paced environment. Must work well as part of a team and on own initiative. Can create positive working relationships with colleagues and clients. Must show willingness to be involved, learn, share knowledge, accept accountability and show initiative. Works well under pressure, self-motivated and able to multi-task and prioritise. Excellent planning and organisational skills are essential. Excellent client facing skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A good level of computer skills with the ability to learn and incorporate new software and systems. This role will involve moving and lifting of equipment and also some work at ceiling level. Maintains a smart and professional appearance at all times. Must be punctual and reliable. Must be flexible to accommodate the needs of the business. Must be prepared to travel within the UK and/or within the EMEA region. Training & Qualifications: PASMA and/or working at heights safety training is desirable. CTS or equivalent qualification advantageous. Fully competent with Microsoft Office software. IT hardware knowledge desirable. Video and IP networking accreditations would be advantageous.
