IT Support ( 2nd Line Support Analyst) IT Support Analyst required to join as a member of the internal service desk at the head office of this international consultancy in Canary Wharf. The IT Support desk supports the business using an ITIL-aligned service management system. Troubleshooting issues, supporting users, and assisting with internal and global IT projects. The 2nd Line Support Analyst will be responsible for: - Participate in team meetings, share knowledge and recommend improvement opportunities - Adhere to internal processes and procedures - Occasional visits to other UK-based GfK sites when required - Support users across all UK sites - face to face, telephone, and remote support - Log and manage active tasks using internal service desk management system (HPSM) - Incident Mgt, Problem Mgt, Service Request Fulfilment, Change Mgt - Compile and update documentation - Support internal and global IT projects To take up this requirement you will need : - Experience of migrating desktop environments Knowledge of ITIL best practice and experience working in an ITIL-aligned service desk - Good working hardware knowledge of PCs and laptops - An understanding of network concepts - Windows Server 2008 / 2012 - Microsoft SCCM experience - Experience supporting Apple OS X and iOS highly desirable - Solid understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy management - Attention to detail is crucial Athena Resourcing Solutions is an employment agency and employment business.
