* Provide business and technical support to the organisation's business applications.
* Work closely with the business application user to diagnose and troubleshoot incidents.
* Provision of subject matter expert guidance and advice in relation to applications. Act as a point of specialism for particular business applications.
* Incident, problem and defect management.
* Triage incidents to determine course of action, perform root cause analysis, document and implement solutions.
* Manage the incident lifecycle end to end and engage with Service Partners in regards to resolutions and workarounds.
* Ensure all agreed SLA's/KPI's are met.
* Ensure the relevant documentation is relevant and up to date.
* Adhere to the organisation's IT change management policy.
* Meet the information security requirements of the organisation, particularly in relation to sensitive information.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested from time to time, within the job-holders capabilities.

Skills and Experience


* Demonstrable (2 years) experience of the provision of business and technical support to business applications.
* Strong technical background.
* Experience of working with third party suppliers in the delivery and management of application configuration and customisation.
* Experience of interpreting business process logic in relation to application functionality.
* Experience in managing incident, problem and defect queues
* Experience of triage activities.
* Excellent logical diagnostic capabilities.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent team working skills.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organisation
* A commitment to Health and Safety practices and procedures.


* Demonstrable experience in working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
* Experience working with Microsoft SQL.
* Experience in liaising with, and monitoring the performance of, an external service provider.
