As an Application Engineer for this technology led corporate client, you will work as part of the wider Architecture & Technology Engineering team, with your focus being to address the technical challenges the business is experiencing with their Enterprise wide Adobe Framemaker & Adobe Framemaker Publishing Server solutions. From solving day to day issues with Framemaker, to upgrading the installed Framemaker software & Tools to the latest versions, you must have solid Adobe Framemaker technical skills and be able to work with the wider IT teams to ensure the correct and reliable interfaces between different systems are in place. Skills Required: - Good familiarity with Adobe Framemaker, Adobe Framemaker Publishing Server, and related tools (e.g. Adobe Synchronizer.) although technical experience with other Content Management systems could also suffice. - The ability to undertake evaluation of other tools that will interface with these tools. - Able to set up and configure these tools - NOT authoring within them! - Comfortable working with other divisions on ensuring the correct and reliable interface between different systems is in place. - Debugging issues within the usage of these Adobe tools. - Able to provide short-term workarounds for issues. - Work with the vendor on understanding long-term fixes.
