UI/UX Designer / Up to £55,000 / London A brilliant opportunity has come to light within Franklin Bates where a significant e-commerce giant are looking for a well-rounded and experienced UI/UX Designer to join a great team based in Central London - just a stone throws away from a well serviced tube station. You will play a key role enhancing their website to ensure that it is as effective and user friendly as possible. They are eagerly looking for a focused and creative individual who is passionate about the customers experience ensuring that it runs as smoothly as possible. You will have a positive, can do attitude with a solution led mindset. You will be able to think outside the box and look at the bigger picture but also focus on the smaller details that can make visions and ideas a reality. The role will be a 50/50 split between UI and UX Design so time managements skills and self-motivation is essential. As part of the UI Designer role, you will need to be able to write code in HTML5 and CSS3. You will be working within a team of developers and eCom colleagues and will report to the Head of eCommerce. The teams work in a Scrum environment so you will need to have a good Agile awareness. To be successful in the role, you will need to have the following key skills: - Desktop and mobile UI design skills - Strong experience and success as a UI and UX Designer - Scrum and Agile experience - Experience prototyping ideas using tools such as Balsamiq or Axure - Strong experience using responsive HTML5 & CSS3 - Customer focused with the ability to be empathic and patient - Exceptional problem-solving skills on all levels - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to apply this with all stakeholders This role will be based in London, walkable from a well serviced tube station and will be paying up to £55,000 + bonus and benefits.
