Lead DevOps - AWS Lead DevOps Engineer -Publishing - AWS. Lead DevOps Engineer with strong AWS needed for a global Publisher based in Central London. They are currently undergoing one of the biggest digital transformations in the city, looking to encompass their CMS platform migration and transform all of their enterprise technology and systems along with investing into their digital capabilities. You will primarily be responsible for the full stack management of their custom digital platform which will include managing their AWS environment and the application and development of all new products and services. Their technical stack consists of: Complete cloud hosted infrastructure on AWS, Docker and HashiCorp tools like packer and terraform. You will ideally have experience with the following: - Amazon Web Services (AWS) including services/products such as EC2, S3, CloudFormation, CloudFront, Elastic Load Balancing etc - Configuration management tools like Ansible - Infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation and Terraform - Experience of securing API endpoints with technologies like oAuth and SAML - MySQL and a good working knowledge of SQL - NoSQL type database systems such as MongoDB and a working knowledge of ElasticSearch - Docker and container eco-system - Maintaining Linux based infrastructure and keeping them secure The successful candidate should have proven experience of using AWS as their underlining infrastructure base as well as practical experience of configuration management and infrastructure as code tools. The role will be split between maintaining/enhancing the current AWS infrastructure as well as implementing infrastructure as code to support new applications.
