Title: Network Field Engineer Location: Swindon Salary: £20,000-£30,000 Role: The Support Analyst role consists of Support based tasks which are logged via either in person, email or Telephone. Tasks could be related to WAN connectivity, LAN wireless, security, monitoring and PC/ systems based products. There would also a requirement to regularly attend client sites to conduct PCI Audits so a full Driving License is required. The Support Analyst should either hold a CCNA or demonstrate technical skills to that level. A broad range of skills in technologies such as WAN/LAN, wireless, security based products will also be required. The Support Analyst will be required to participate in an on-call rota, that typically requires participants to do one week in four on call. - Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone or electronically - Managing incidents and problems appropriately within agreed service levels - Monitoring and maintaining infrastructure to agreed service levels - Diagnose and resolve multi-disciplined technical configuration, hardware and software issues - Performing configuration, troubleshooting and administration as required - Resolve problems whenever possible and escalate to appropriate resources as required - Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention - Own technical issues within the support team till resolved - Ensure technical documentation is created and updated to professional standards - Communicate with customers effectively to ensure customer satisfaction - Stay current with relevant technologies
