A British Engineering company supplying advanced systems to luxury supercar manufacturers in the automotive industry are seeking engineering Graduates to join their process team. You will have a relevant Engineering Degree with a keen interest in automotive manufacturing processes. Commutable from: Bicester, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Towcester, Aylesbury, Oxford, Banbury, Northampton, Dunstable Salary £ 27,000 p.a. + 33 days holiday + Pension + Early finish on a Friday Suitable for: Graduate, Graduate Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Graduate, Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, Graduate Manufacturing Engineer, Graduate Process Engineer, Graduate Production Engineer, Graduate Project Engineer The Role As part of a highly skilled and experienced team you will develop, configure and optimize industrial manufacturing processes from inception through to production start-up and certification. Introducing new and exciting products and processes into production through in-depth involvement with product lifecycle management to ensure they are robust and repeatable. Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output. To develop and improve manufacturing processes and quality control measures, while proactively managing continuous improvement activities in the manufacturing area of the business including plant and process to ensure cost, quality and output targets. Working with suppliers to improve process and ensure activities comply with requirements. Ensuring safe working practices are in place, documented and adhered to including documentation, training, risk assessments and auditing. Utilising multiple lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, whilst seeking opportunities for cost reduction and championing the implementation of improvements to efficiency and productivity. Training of process and manufacturing employees and operatives in new equipment operations and processes. The Person Degree qualified with 2:1 and above in a related Engineering discipline with modern manufacturing process content and an interest in advanced automotive manufacturing. Any relevant experience gained from industrial placements or internships in manufacturing environment would be highly desirable.
