Job Title - Electrical Maintenance Engineer Shifts - 4 days on 4off (12 hour shifts 6-6) Location - Nottinghamshire Salary - £38,500 plus overtime (OTE £43k, paid at 1.5x & 2.0x on Sundays) The Company Our client is a leading a manufacturer of high quality building products. With multiple sites across the UK, this multi-million pound company are looking to recruit an electrical maintenance engineer to join their strong and accomplished engineering team. Their fully automated site in Nottinhgamshire produces a range of building products to supply their every expanding customer needs. The business has gone through significant investment to improve their facility and operations to expand their manufacturing capacity. The Role The engineer will be responsible for all electrical fault finding and rectification work on production lines on site. This would include fault finding through to a competent level with a multimeter or by checking inputs and outputs, reading schematics and checking HMI screens. Electrical components include sensors, single and 3 phase motors, control voltages, PLC and working on panels. The work will be planned and reactive maintenance working with the possibility to get involved with projects. The engineering team have fully qualified mechanical and electrical engineers so each engineer will remain in their specialist area. The plant is most automated with PLC fault finding conducted through a laptop, candidates though will not need to write or alter code. The Candidate To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications: - Must have a recognised electrical qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND). - Experience of working within the heavy industry sector. - A positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
