Our client, a leading provider of surveillance systems to the transport sector is currently looking for an experienced engineer to diagnose, maintain, and install transport surveillance systems and to work on other transport systems as required - eg. telematics. Base location is you home address - located in or around South London Work locations will be at customer premises, typically working through the evening & night To diagnose, maintain, and install transport surveillance systems. To work on other transport systems as required - eg. telematics. Work completed to the required high standard. Completing work right first time. Reducing level of re-work. Work completed to the maximum possible efficiency. Area efficiency increasing over time. Professional impression given to customers. High level of customer care. Positive feedback from clients - satisfied customers. Achievement of personal objectives & targets. Ways of working maintained to high standard. Full compliance with required processes. Personal capability continually developed. Improving experience of range of CCTV systems. Opportunity to develop to Senior Engineer level with support & training. Completing required diagnostic, maintenance, and installation work on transport surveillance systems. Following laid-down company processes inc for PDAs. Carrying out work planned by the Area Engineer. Assisting Engineers/Senior Engineers with their workload. Answering phone calls from the office and Senior/Area Engineers Communicating with all customers / Garage Engineers in a professional manner. Responsible for your own self development & improvement. Adhering to Company/Customers Health and Safety policies. Adhering to all requirements relating to the care of Company/Customer equipment. Carrying out any reasonable requests from the Area Engineer/Service Managers. Area Engineer Trainee Engineers, Junior Engineers, Engineers, and Senior Engineers in the same team and other teams Helpdesk Personnel at Head Office Customers Good technical skills, preferably with an electrical bias Good IT skills A good communicator A strong team player
