We are currently looking for a Systems Integration Engineer based in Oxfordshire. Reference No: J0011403 Job Title: Systems Integration Engineer Experience: Recent experience and proven track record in electrical integration within the automotive or Autosport industries Location: Oxfordshire Rate: From £35.00 to £40.00 per Hour Ltd Co. Hours: 40 Hours Per Week The Role: *Integrate customer, proprietary and bespoke electrical systems and components to achieve vehicle targets. *This job description is not exhaustive and the job holder will be required to carry out from time to time tasks in addition to the above that will be both reasonable and within their capabilities. Key responsibilities *Through appropriately considered and documented processes, development of system architecture proposals and definitions *Analysis and specification of system requirements including the communication, functional and physical elements of the system. *Management of suppliers delivering components or system to a project. *Supervision and development of junior team members. *Assist with the build and fault-finding of projects *Design and development of electrical and electronic systems for vehicle programme applications. *Generate system architecture diagrams and circuit drawings to support electrical design activity. *Consider the use of alternative materials and technologies in pursuit of the optimal design for cost, weight and performance. *Undertake hazard analysis, risk management and DFMEA for components and systems as required. *Define and execute system test and validation activities. *Support virtual and physical builds for components and vehicles. *Preparation and presentation of reports for internal and external audiences. *Support technical and project reviews with the customer, representing the company, as required. *Maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and all other departments *Understand and work to company, Customer, Industry and Legislative standards. Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience: *Recent experience and proven track record in electrical integration within the automotive or Autosport industries. *Working knowledge of Vector tools including CANalyser *The ability to work flexibly to strict deadlines *Experience of Electric Vehicles - HV charging, HV battery and HV powertrain systems *Degree in relevant engineering discipline or in job experience of 3 years min. *Team player with a thirst for learning *A 'can do' attitude *A drive for success *Implement the company's Health & Safety policy. *Must be open and transparent, willing to support other team members, able to work in a small team environment, and accepting to take on new ideas, concepts, and ways of working. *Professionalism and humility is a must. *Committed to the development and maintenance of a strong positive company culture within the team including the incorporation of the company values Additional Information: *Recruitment Consultant: Claus Henriksen *Tel: *********** *Email: ************************* Our clients are unable to provide sponsorship for Tier 2 visas; therefore, only candidates eligible to work in the UK need apply!
