From January 2018
Permanent and Full Time
We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a talented and inspirational Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful team at the Lionheart Academies Trust (LAT). Our educational mission is simple: ANY young person from ANY background deserves an EQUAL chance to be successful in whatever they choose to do.
We see the investment in our staff as crucial as we look to build on previous successes for our students and the school. The successful applicant will be given fantastic career progression opportunities and continued investment from a friendly and supportive senior management team who are keen to support staff to develop both personally and professionally.
For the first two terms this position will initially be based at The Cedars Academy, part of the Lionheart Academies Trust, after which you may be required to work at another school within the LAT.
The Cedars Academy is an 11 to 18 academy in Birstall that is committed to exacting high standards, raising attainment and demanding creative excellence from its staff and pupils. We are driven to ensure pupil success is at the core of all our work. We provide a vibrant and engaging curriculum which promotes the love of learning, and prepares young people for the next steps in their lives.
We know that by working hard and aspiring to excellence in all we do, our pupils will achieve the best possible outcomes and success. We are ambitious and aspirational for our staff and pupils; we believe passionately that every pupil will succeed and are committed to equality of opportunity.
If you have a passion for your subject and for educating motivated and enthusiastic students, we would love to hear from you.
