Roevin Engineering are recruiting a SCIDA Consultant PROM Engineer as part of the DCMC SCIDA & Assurance Team providing Configuration Management, System Design Authority, SME guidance and Design Conformance within a MOD hardened facility. Activities to be undertaken: Provide SCIDA SME advice on development of designs and proposals Provide scrutiny of ECR Pt 2 designs Provide Design Endorsement Provide Installation Conformance Undertake audit of Power Systems and provide Audit Report Participate in audit of Planned Maintenance and provide input to Audit Report Participate in audit of Assets and provide input to Audit Report Participate in audit of SSOW and provide input to Audit Report Provide Input to Co-ordinated Assurance Programme Provide Advice to Authority on Spares and Obsolescence issues Key Skills Sound engineering knowledge of electrical building services systems and equipment Knowledge of Defence Estates, legislative and site specific standards for installations, maintenance and inspections Undertake technical audits and inspections Production of technical audit and inspection reports Maintaining effective communications with all stakeholders Maintain detailed records of all work activity Qualifications: Foundation Degree/HND/HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent Professional Accreditation desirable i.e. I Eng or C Eng or equivalent in another professional body City and Guilds 2382-15 (IEE Regulations) Conversant with Project Management techniques i.e. Prince 2/Agile CIDA IDA course is desirable Conversant with H&S Management i.e. NEBOSH/IOSH 17th Edition electrical regs Cyber awareness training Experience: A proven track record in auditing facilities management and works Proven ability to deliver planned audits and reports within the defence arena Experience in Electrical Design and Project Management Safe Systems of Work Good health and safety knowledge Additional Information Security Clearance: DV Clearance. Candidates with SC clearance will be required to undergo Developed Vetting (DV). Working Hours: Nominal 37.5 hrs / week based on a 7.5 hr day. Semi-flex system
