Harmeny School is a leading provider of specialist residential education services for children with complex social, emotional, behavioural needs. As a Grant Aided School, we work with children of primary up to early secondary stage, both on a day and all-year-round residential basis.



We have an exciting opportunity for an Outdoor Learning Facilitator to join Harmeny Outdoors Team on a permanent, full-time basis to provide a range of high quality outdoor learning for children with additional support needs. This post will involve all types of outdoor activities and learning opportunities, for example canoeing, skiing, mountain biking, etc. as well as outdoor cooking and learning about the environment. Harmeny school is located in Balerno, Edinburgh and is situated in 35 acres of natural woodland with easy access to the Pentlands.



Successful candidates, together with colleagues in Care, Education and Support Services, will have the opportunity to positively contribute to the lives of some of the nation's most vulnerable children, ensuring Harmeny continues to offer an excellent service.
