Job Advert

As ICT Technician, you will be required to support the school community in provision of all ICT services. Key responsibilities are:-

Manage ICT internal helpdesk
Support & maintain ICT Hardware & Infrastructure throughout the school
Install new hardware/software
Staff & Pupil account administration & security
SQA examination support
Assembly/event technical support
School website design and upkeep
Annual PAT testing access arrangements
Technician team tasks, as required
Liaise with external engineers
Maintain school ICT inventory
Organise ICT/electrical equipment disposals
Maintain and develop the school's management information systems
Ensure customer service standards are met.

You should have experience in providing ICT support to a varied client base within a busy environment. Preferably within an educational establishment.

You are required to hold a relevant qualification and have an excellent working knowledge of Windows operating systems (including Windows XP and Windows 7), and hardware support.

This is a term time post.
