Project Manager You will be working in a central team to design, develop and deliver Managed Services principally for clients within the Financial Services and Insurance sectors, although the scope of the business also includes other sectors such as consumer and pharmaceuticals. Your role, working for the MRS Service Mobilisation Lead, is to work with the business to project manage one or more managed service propositions through the development lifecycle from a brief idea canvas through to a tangible, operating service sold to our clients. Tasks include: - Supporting creation of key lifecycle assets such as a business case and commercial model. - Defining and agreeing project scope, objectives and deliverables with key stakeholders. - Engagement and management of multiple stakeholders, to support the development of managed service propositions and wider communication goals. - Establishing and delivering solutions with teams across Technology, Risk Analytics and BAU Operations. - Development of project plans and associated project documentation (e.g. RAIDs) and status reporting. - Tracking of project milestones and deliverables, taking corrective action where required. - Successful engagement of required resources. Qualifications and skills; Essential: The successful candidate will possess a strong project management background, ideally gained in the management consulting industry and/or financial services sector. - Demonstrable problem solving capability to react to changing priorities - Ability to identify their own approach or path to meeting a set goal - Experience of working in fast-moving, high pressure environment requiring flexibility and agility (e.g. consulting, startups, Agile environments) - Proven record of successful delivery of small to medium scale projects - Proven record of risk and issue identification and management - Strong influencing skills especially with multiple stakeholders operating across a complex organisation matrix - Experience of change management and change governance within a PMO/PSO style environment - Highly developed and confident communication style - Able to analyse data, problem solve and make decisions confidently - Highly organized and able to manage own workload to meet stretching targets and strict deadlines - Excellent numeracy and advanced computer literacy (MS Office Suite) - Excellent time management - Meticulous attention to detail - Degree or equivalent experience - Start: ASAP Duration: 6 months (initially) Location: London (potentially some travel) Rate: £600-700 per day (depending on experience)
