Paid Media Manager / Team Leader Soho, London £50,000 Due to expansion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Paid Media Manager / Team Leader to join a very successful Digital Marketing agency on their ever-growing media team. You will have worked directly on planning and implementing media campaigns - with a sound knowledge of a wide range of media channels, especially digital. You will now be looking to move away from day to day implementation, and instead focus on presenting media strategy to clients, developing senior client relationships, and winning new business and growing existing client accounts. Reporting to the Media Director you will take ownership when in client facing situations to communicate results and have a consultative approach when making recommendations based on your findings. You will work collaboratively with our digital media strategists and Media Managers to build strategy plans, and oversee all key Client accounts. Client sectors include Higher Education, Travel & Hospitality, Alcohol, Food & Beverage, Charity and very high-profile Luxury brands. The perfect candidate: - Agency experience - This is essential. You need to fully understand and thrive on the high paced, pressurized environment of agency life. - Excellent eye for detail - You will be juggling multiple senior client stakeholders, staff members and client strategies whilst ensuring excellent processes and teamwork are being upheld across your team. - Proven experience in Paid Search/PPC/Paid Social strategy building - minimum 5 years working in a media role. - Client Management Experience - You will be working closely with clients on a daily basis to set strategies, plan and implement cross-channel campaigns and regularly report on their progress. - Experience of working collaboratively with media planners and buyers - overseeing their day to day client interactions and account optimisations/ set-ups - International experience would be beneficial - media buying experience across the EU, USA and India especially relevant - Excellent understanding of tracking methodologies and techniques Day-to-day: You will take responsibility for key client relationships across all Media accounts, as well as developing strategies for new and potential clients. - Onboarding, owning and nurturing new and existing key Media client relationships - collaborating with them to gain a deep understanding of business goals, and leading the development and management of effective integrated media plans for them. - Maintaining clear oversight of all key Client Accounts - from budgets to timelines - and overseeing all campaign rollouts and implementation by junior team members for total accuracy and best practice - Working with the Media Director to develop effective processes for the Media team as it grows and they win new Clients - to ensure high standards are maintained - Identifying new opportunities in the marketplace, carrying out pitch prep and attending pitches - Liaising with internal and external research teams, and undertakes own research, to collate market and customer insight to support and justify media laydown. Strong working knowledge of industry tools. - Keep up to date with Media Buying industry trends and research in order to educate clients and internal teams - Working with Media strategists to build and maintain relationships with media owners and positioning the agency at the forefront of digital first media practice.
