Role: Sales Director - Application Development Services, Professional Services, BI, Cloud - UK Package: £100-150k Basic, Bonus & Excellent Benefits My client, a leading supplier of IT Based Application Development & professional Services, require a Sales Director to drive growth, leading Sales & presales teams and owning the Sales strategy that supports the corporate vision. You will build the strategy and delivery an improved and consistent sales performance. With responsibility for all sales related activity, my client are looking for an individual that will lead from the front working with the divisional Managing Director to deliver over-performance. Duties: - Develop the strategy for delivering excellent service to long term strategic clients together with further developing the new business capability. - Achieve annual sales order value and revenue targets which include gross margin targets, by selling the portfolio of services to new customers & existing clients in defined markets. - Develop the commercial business plan for all sales activities, including sales strategy, pricing models, target markets; and to reach management agreement on achievable revenue goals and assuming the responsibility for delivery of those goals. - Protect the installed and committed revenue base. - Ensure qualified sales pipeline is achieved on ongoing basis - Audit and restructure of existing sales resources. - Recruit, build and mentor a successful sales team. Key Skills: - Experience of leading sales teams across multiple disciplines - Background in IT based Application or Professional services sales - Enthusiasm and pragmatic approach to sales - Experience of managing New Business, Account Management & presales teams - Clear motivational skills We are an Employment Business and an Employment Agency as defined within The Conduct of Employment Agencies & Employment Businesses Regulations 2003
