Reference Data Manager - Central London. Financial Reference Data Management / Market Data / Financial Metadata Financial Reference Data / Python / SQL / Bloomberg / Thomson Reuters This is a rare opportunity for a technologist with financial industry experience of dealing with reference data. You will be naturally inquisitive and curious - previous work with third party providers such as Bloomberg, Reuters, EDI, Financial Calendar, S&P is highly valuable. The Role You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining reference and other financial data. You will be a technologist who has experience managing, maintaining and reconciling securities reference data in a Python and SQL environment. You will be part of the team that is responsible for making sure that the end users can access the metadata and that the data accessed is clean, correct and curated. The ideal Reference Data Manager Will be someone who has several years` experience working extensively with financial data, specifically meta data at a bank, hedge fund, data distributor or an exchange. You will be able to combine your expertise in Mathematics, Statistics, and Coding in tackling complex data problems whilst being comfortable in a job requiring agility, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Roles and Responsibilities of Reference Data Manager: - Database design, process & workflow design, automation - Managing data exceptions - Designing interfaces for external data providers - Handling derived data such as daily prices computed from tick data.
