SQL Developer Perm, Up to £65,000 A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled SQL Developer to join a leading Investment Bank in Canary Wharf, London. Role Profile: This SQL Developer will join a team of 30 developers, testers, BA's, and PM's, all of whom are responsible for a large Teradata database. The database itself contains the bank's Corporate Credit Risk data, and at present the team is dealing with a huge amount of regulatory reporting. The system produces around 2 million rows of data, which is produced monthly. The most commonly used technology in this role includes SQL, Teradata, and Unix. As a SQL Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining the Credit Risk database, and naturally your role will involve extensive hands on SQL development. You will be responsible for making changes to the existing code, as well as writing code that enables the business to analyse the data. About You: For this role it is essential that you have strong, practical SQL development experience. Teradata experience is not required, however as you will be responsible for a Teradata database you must be willing to cross train on this technology.
