The UK's leading architectural anodiser, require a Maintenance Engineer to assist in maintaining their 24hr/120hr/week production facility based in Uxbridge. The ideal applicant should be apprentice trained to minimum level of City & Guilds (1788) Level 3 or equivalent and/or Approved Electrician and should hold IEE 17th Edition Certification, have a good working knowledge of industrial 3ph power & distribution systems with good all-round skills in fault finding/rectification. They should have at least five years' experience in a maintenance engineering environment. Knowledge of any of the following would be advantageous: transformer/rectifier sets (3ph 415V ac-24V/7500A dc), overhead traversing gantry cranes, refrigeration plant, gas-fired combustion equipment/industrial steam boilers, forklift trucks (diesel & electric), pumps, valves and associated systems. Experience of electro-chemical process plant would also be beneficial. They should also be able to develop and work to a preventative maintenance programme and to comply with statutory inspections.
