Badenoch & Clark is currently working alongside a highly esteemed and continually expanding company based out of Reigate towards the appointment of a Group Accountant. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified accountant (ideally ACA) coming out of practice looking to make their first move into industry. Reporting into the Financial Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns and management accounts. As such, you must have demonstrable prior experience within a similar role alongside a meticulous eye for detail. Key Accountabilities: * Assist the wider finance team with the provision of support to the Financial Accounting Manager. * Responsible for the assisting with statutory accounts, tax returns, and management accounts as well as their subsequent delivery. * Work as part of the wider finance team in order to deliver process improvements constantly seeking to enhance procedures. * Developing and maintaining collaborative and productive relationships with internal managers. * Liaise with external stakeholders including the company's auditors. * Assisting with the accurate and timely preparation, accuracy and delivery of the company's tax returns. * Assisting the Financial Accounting Manager with statutory and regulatory compliance. * Assisting with the preparation of monthly balance sheets and reconciliations. Essentials: * ACA qualification highly desirable but will entertain applications from ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. * Strong knowledge of FRS 102. * Demonstrable prior experience within a similar role. * Strong MS Office skills with particular focus on MS Excel * Exemplary communicative capacity, both orally and written.
