Do you have experience in Pre-Sales activity in a Infrastructure Managed Services (MSP) environment? Could you be interested in a more client facing & high level solution design based role? Although this is a non-targeted role you will enjoy a generous bonus scheme (c£20K) based directly on your input into client engagements. The core activity in the role is to act as the link between the sales and technical teams. In the is role you will work closely with clients often on a face to face basis to understand the high to mid level technical aspects of their challenges. You will be able to talk technically with IT Directors and IT Managers about their IT infrastructure based needs and projects but you will not be required to go to a low / granular level. Once you have a relatively broad picture of a clients requirements you will need work closely with both sales and technical consultants to help shape more indepth proposals. It is worth noting that the majority of client engagements will be with the existing client base where there are urgent warm relationships in place. Salary £50K to £55K plus uncapped bonus / commission + 25 days holiday + Pension. In terms of background this role would suit an existing Pre-sales Consultant or a Senior Infrastructure Engineer Consultant who has significant elements of pre-sales in their role. Your technical background will include IT infrastructure technologies such as Citrix, Microsoft (Windows Server, Exchange, O365, AD, SQL Server), VMware, Veeam, Cloud technologies etc....However you do not need to be a technical expert in all of these areas.
