1st Line Support Analyst / Helpdesk Support Engineer - Customer Service - ITIL - Junior, Entry Level, Trainee, Insurance, Fintech, ITIL, SQL, Perm, £20k-£24k. Fintech Consultancy currently seeks a 1st Line Support Analyst / Helpdesk Administrator to work within a small team supporting business users across their product range. You will provide high quality customer service and work alongside desktop and software development teams. No commercial experience is necessary. You will respond to calls into the helpdesk and use the dynamic helpdesk ticketing system to log issues, follow break/fix prompts and resolve issues using your own knowledge whilst receiving support from the team having completed in-house training. You will use your skills in providing high quality customer services, problem solving skills to resolve technical issues and complete high quality documentation as required. We are searching for candidates who have acquired some commercial experience gained within either an 1st Line IT Support capacity, Service Desk or Helpdesk based Customer Service position. Failing this, you will have gained some experience in a public facing position (bar/restaurant/retail environments) but have an interest in breaking in to your first IT focussed role. Importantly, you will be comfortable answering calls from business users and be able to communicate in a clear and professional fashion whilst solving problems. Any knowledge of SQL Databases and Software/Application Development would be an advantage but non-essential. Full training will be provided. You may have recently finished College/Univesity or and IT Apprenticeship, NVQ, A-Levels or other academic or vocational qualification and now be looking for your first job in IT / Helpdesk Support. Ideally you will have gained a small amount of commercial experience within an IT Support or Technical Customer Services position ideally employed in a service desk or helpdesk environment.
