This independent practice based just outside Reading near Wokingham are looking for an established tax professional to help them grow their personal tax offering.

This is an interesting opportunity that is offering the chance to grow a team and department. This will involve the successful applicant being responsible for overseeing the personal tax offering and working closely with the partners to market and grown the service line.

The role would suit either an experience tax senior or tax manager looking for a more autonomous role. The role will involve managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns.

There will be opportunities for the successful candidate to gain exposure to more complex advisory work as the role develops.

The ideal candidate will be ATT qualified or with an equivalent accountancy qualification, or may be qualified by experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation of personal tax returns
Reviewing junior staff's completion of personal self-assessment tax returns
Providing guidance, training and support to junior staff
Identifying tax planning opportunities
Build and maintain strong client relationships
