Sales Developer c£20,000.00 per annum Bonus available for achieving company targets Elland, West Yorkshire 34 holiday days including statutory (bank) holidays About the Company: We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Elland, West Yorkshire, which is close to the M62 with easy access from Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford and Leeds. For over 100 years' our client has been one of the UK's top hard landscaping and natural stone manufacturers and suppliers; working alongside a variety of industries such as construction companies, home-improvement, supplying superior products. Due to their high standards, they have become synonymous with quality; supplying prominent attractions and other high-profile projects. They are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Developer to join their landscaping and walling department to help grow their already successful business. Duties: - Taking enquiries via the telephone and email you will provide quotations for your customers in a timely manner - Raising quotations by accurately record all details onto the CRM System - Proactively following up quotations and converting into projects or orders - Assisting the company to achieve and exceed its annual sales target by negotiating and closing all sales opportunities - Maintaining and updating the project pipeline and minimising duplicates - Building strong relationships with other employees within the company's other Commercial Sales Teams involved in assigned project to ensure the best possible outcome for the client and customer - Working on projects which have been assigned to you, you will identify opportunities to cross-sell other company products - Working closely with the External Sales force, you will identify new opportunities for sales - By building rapport with your clients and providing a high level of customer service, you will ensure that the company exceeds the sales budgets Experience Required: - You must have sales experience, ideally from within construction or associated products such as stainless steel, plastics or stone, however, strong sales experience in a B2B environment will be considered - You must be able to demonstrate knowledge/experience of questioning techniques, overcoming objections and closing and negotiating sales - Account Management Experience Personal Profile: - Highly motivated with and enthusiastic and pro-active personality - Excellent communications skills - Attention to detail - Have the ability work under pressure - Strong team work ethic - Have an analytical mind Additional Info: - Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break - Benefits include - Cycle to work scheme, childcare vouchers - Pension Scheme - Private or Government - Ongoing personal and professional development commitment from the company
