This is a great opportunity to join a growing, customer focused IT service provider working on one of their key client sites, based in Abingdon. You'll work on a range duties, providing day to day support, mainly at 2nd line level, including remote based and some deskside support. You'll also act as a dedicated technical resource for project activities, working closely with project managers and infrastructure engineers. It's diverse and interesting role, your responsibilities will be to provide support across the following:- - Microsoft Office 2003, 2010 and 2013 - Exchange - Active Directory, including user administration - Desktop/laptop set-up, configuration and performance tuning - Microsoft SCCM - Web and E-mail Security - Antivirus Software - Managed Print Solution software and cost recovery - Mobile device support - iOS, Android etc It would also be an advantage to have exposure across the following technologies:- - Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012 - Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop - Microsoft Remote Desktop Services - TCP/IP, Routing, VPN and Firewall configuration - Working with remote offices to provide a seamless support experience Due to the nature of the client, you'll ideally come from a commercial background, or even better, a background in IT managed services.
