The Opportunity Macildowie Marketing are currently recruiting for an experienced Website Developer to join an international business located in Derbyshire. The Web Developer will develop and implement a consistent technical approach online for leading UK brands, ensuring close communication with the marketing teams. You will help develop best navigation, information architecture, landing pages and ensure general day to day website maintenance. You will be responsible for co-ordination and prioritisation of the technical requirements of the content management systems and development of new features. Key Responsibilities -Create and maintain a websites technical improvements backlog within JIRA and prioritise enhancement requirements from the business weekly. -To work with a wider central team to plan, implement, document and launch new VGOA (group content management system) functionality within budget and to agreed timescales. -Drive standardisation in Google analytics reporting via Google data studio and deliver standardised departmental reports with insights. -Own the maintenance of the Information Architecture for the UK and ensure easy navigation online for customers. -Create a process for testing and pre deployment checks around: user experience, SEO (via search metrics) and relevancy are done to content before it is pushed online. -Develop a development, deployment and testing process for online content pushed online by internal and external marketing teams. -Work with existing and source new tools for improving what they do online. e.g. Usage of 'Optimisely' for AB testing content and campaigns online. -Work with marketing teams to ensure best practice online journeys, user experience and improve goal conversions. -Help align key internal / external partner websites to ensure consistency to their technical approach, user experience and ensure they are using standard processes. -Work with marketing teams to ensure the brand experience online is in line with brand guidelines and where none exist work with key stakeholders to revise the standards. -Help develop effortless and personalised online customer journeys in line with the customer segments and personas. Involvement in other digital projects such as API and web services. To provide assistance to the wider digital Support team to help manage workload in busy periods e.g. EPS development, connected products and email template creation. Key Skills Required *Knowledge of EPS ***************). *Knowledge of CMS, web services and API's. *Website development skills. *A good understanding of usability and design patterns. *Ability to manage workload and set internal expectations. *Positive outlook to change and determination to succeed. *Process driven and able to find better ways of working using digital technology. *A good awareness of digital trends to help the company work smarter in the future.
