Network Service Delivery Manager-Slough/London 60-70k Global Datacentre provider looking to add to a great team. This role will require someone with strong man management and business understanding. Clear and direct can do attitude who can advise and deliver on issues from start to finish. Good vendor management and ability to liaise with stakeholders across,multiple industries. A real leader with strong sense of team-work with ability to stand strong when in pressured situations with clients and the business alike. Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Management Responsible for providing comprehensive input to stakeholders to support decision making. Proactively communicates issues and risks and escalate conflicts, proposing options for resolution. Able to drive effective conflict resolution between stakeholders. Manages all stakeholder communications with respect to project and operations status. In addition to building effective working relationships with stakeholders, the manager partners with stakeholders to execute against agreed-upon commitments. Responsible for managing stakeholder escalations/priority shifts to resolution and/or senior management escalation. Day-to-Day Operations Is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own area of speciality. Owns a part of a global function (GNOC vs. NOC-night shift). Knows all the jobs within the team hands on. Able to represent the team members (with upper management) as well as influence the team members to drive initiatives. Owns a part of a global function (GNOC day-shift vs. night shift). Manages the team to deliver the committed SLA's & SLO's. Assists vendor resources with on-boarding activities through all business channels, ensuring vendor resources have appropriate workspace, system access, and tools. Optional for Service delivery manager. Manages/leads individual consulting resources, as assigned. Identifies initial commercial implications for vendor selection and performs initial due diligence. Provides inputs for vendor negotiations. Manages approved vendor relationships.
