A management accountant job in the start up London branch of a US legal firm
A legal firm are looking for an up and coming accountant to play a key part in the development of the UK finance function
Your new company
This is a really unique opportunity to join a business as they look to develop their finance function in West London. With a business currently operating out of New York and Miami, the company will effectively be in start up phase in the UK.
Your new role
The role will be reporting directly into the CFO who is currently in London, but looking to develop and train his successor as he moves out to New York. The position will be tasked with identifying and implementing process improvements as well as delivering both statutory and management accounts on a timely basis. You will be required to be present in operational meetings, establishing finance as a key part of the organisations strategic processes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have the drive and determination to move a business forward in the long term, communicating and making non finance see the value in the function. With the foundation of being a qualified accountant, you will need to be looking to work in a high growth environment and have the ambition to do so. You will need to have the capability to take ownership for statutory function and liaison with auditors. Accountancy experience in the legal sector is preferred.
