Systems Engineer/Apple Specialist Up to 38K tax free DOE + ALL Visa costs covered Dubai, UAE Systems Engineer/Apple Specialist An exciting and growing company are searching for a highly motivated individual to join their team in Dubai full time. The work will be varied but will mainly be concentrated on MDM implementations for Apple products, technical support for a range of IT issues, networking including installations of Firewalls, Switching, Web Filter, Wi-Fi systems, Servers and working with Apple products such as iPads, MacBooks, Apple TV's and also their OS systems. Someone with this knowledge and skill set and also windows, DHCP, AD, Vlans, DNS, Virtualisation etc. will be preferred. Person Attributes - Willing to relocate on a permanent basis - Excellent English Speaking and written skills required - Outstanding customer service skills - Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytical skills - Exceptional organisational skills - Strong written and oral communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other similar packages such as Pages, Google docs, etc - Work well in team environment - Ability to think outside the box - Ability to self-learn and self-motivate - Ability to understand what work is required and mobilise to achieve this - Ability to work unsupervised - Ability to complete tasks and follow up until an excellent end result is achieved - Ability to liaise with customers in a professional, friendly, knowledgeable and honest manner Ability to spot opportunities and develop those - Ability to see and understand client's issues and come up with creative ways to not only solve them but improve on what they already have. This includes seeing issues perhaps they are not even aware of themselves, so a keen eye and knowledge depth is needed Key Experience/knowledge - Apple iOS & OS - Apple deployment - Apple estate management - Mobile Device Management- MDM - Preferably Worked with Education sector - VPP and DEP Knowledge - Networking Desirable Experience/knowledge - Experience of Apple classroom and Apple school manager - Understand different deployment scenarios such as 1:1, BYOD, Shared, etc. - Able to configure enterprise Firewalls, Wi-Fi Controllers, Switches, Web filter, Servers, Vlans, DCHP, AD, DNS, Enterprise Virtualisation (Hyper V, VMware, Virtual Box) in data centre/failover cluster and SAN/storage solutions Tasks and Responsibilities - Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems - Install, configure and maintain MDM (Mobile device solutions) to clients - Large scale deployments of devices, mainly Apple such as iPads, iMacs, Macbooks, mac mini - Install Caching servers - Install Apple server software and configure file sharing, caching, open directory and other services as needed - Install windows servers and configure DCHP, DNS, AD and other services including virtualisation and SAN solutions - Configure Apple school manager and Apple classroom - Work on the Helpdesk, including email, phone, remote sessions and onsite visits - Manage large complex projects and report back to managers on status - Advise clients on solutions not limited to but including, Apple solutions, Mobile device management, workflow, apps, programs, IT equipment and peripherals, Apple school manager and Apple classroom - Imaging of devices in large scale deployment situations - Advise and project manage - Install and configure complete network solutions from ground up such as cabling, fibre, network, firewalls, switches, web filter, Wi-Fi controllers with Ap's, servers and UPS - Work with clients to understand their current setups and needs, and build a tailored solution to achieve this - Utilise the systems to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each job you are working on - Provide recommendations for problem resolution and follow up, and help customer achieve this - Explain complex technical issues to clients in a non-technical, simple to understand manner - Ensure that all work meet or exceed our companies and Apple's quality standards - Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment - Answer phone calls if required, with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanour - Ensure that clients have an enjoyable/interesting experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations - Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the office environment and your own personal work area - Work with other internal departments to ensure that the company is working together and the best service will be given to clients
