Software Developer

People Asset Management provides Occupational Health and Wellbeing services to a variety of customers throughout the UK including public and private sector organisations. We provide a wide range of services including Case Management, Health Surveillance, Counselling and Physiotherapy.

Out IT department is rapidly expanding and we are currently looking to recruit a software developerto deliver high quality software predominately in .Net and Microsoft stack. The software developer will play a key part in the development of PAMs key systems working closely with key stakeholders and the test function.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Production of system designs
  • Development in .Net 4.5, using MVC, ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server
  • Unit testing
  • Providing development support of the live systems
  • Analysis/Fixing of Live Bug reports
  • Estimation and reporting of project tasks
  • Contribution towards the development practices/methodologies

The ideal candidate will have the following;

  • You will have prior experience in a Software Developer role
  • Experience of .Net 4.5 (C#, ASP.Net, MVC)
  • Experience of RDBMS (SQL Server)
  • Understanding of Agile development practices and artefacts e.g. Scrum, Kanban, User Stories etc.
  • You will have good communication skills and will operate confidently and professionally in a team environment
  • You will be enthusiastic, keen to learn and enjoy working in a dynamic environment
  • You will be able to solve problems in a logical manner and have a strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience of using tools such as TFS/JIRA/Quality Centre
