Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join an exciting Retail company experiencing rapid growth based in Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£35,000 - £45,000 plus fantastic career development

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • To provide high quality Business Development support to both the Finance-function and the wider operational management teams
  • To provide full and complete business change, business acquisition and business integration financial analyses
  • To provide assessments of potential programme key financial key performance indicators through the preparation and delivery of detailed cashflow and investment appraisal techniques
  • To undertake reviews of existing business offerings and operational processes and to work with relevant management teams to develop solutions that generate improved business efficiency and trading profit growth
  • To lead and project manage the development of strategic initiatives and develop concepts that ultimately enhance shareholder value
  • To review and assess potential acquisition targets and to make recommendations regarding approach
  • To present and deliver programme briefing and approval papers for review
  • To undertake off-site management and business integration support activities
  • To support the Business Development Manager and Senior finance team on an as required basis
  • To be an active member of the Finance team. To positively promote the function and to support in its evolution and development

Person specification:

  • Recently qualified/finalist ACCA/CIMA
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proven Project Management experience
  • Strong business modelling and investment appraisals skills
  • Commercially aware and comfortable in discussing and reviewing key aspects of business development activities
  • Able to discuss finance with non-finance staff and to translate operational challenges and outcomes from and into financial models
  • Able to provide clear, structured and concise written business reports in appropriate styles and language for the targeted audience
  • Flexible & embracing of business change and new ideas
  • Able to work as part of a team and comfortable in leading multi-functional project groups
