A training and education company in the Doncaster area are recruiting for a Finance Manager to lead a small team.
Your new role
This is a chance to make this role your own, you will be a self starter and be able to work autonomously, you will be responsible for implementing policies and procedures and will join the senior management team in this growing and developing business.
- Developing the financial and commercial strategy for the business
- Assessing the financial outsourcing policy
- Implementing new finance software
- Ensuring appropriate monitoring and controls are in place
- Forecasts and budgets
- Producing a 3 year financial plan
- Monthly management accounts
- Leading a small team
- Developing KPI's
- Assisting with internal and external audits
What you'll need to succeed
You will be asked to undergo a DBS check. You will be a qualified accountant. You will have a proven track record of staff management, have an understanding of audit and risk management processes, have a strategic approach combined with attention to detail where necessary to ensure accuracy and successful outcomes, you must be enthusiastic and committed to planning for the future. You will be willing to travel between sites a couple of times a month and have a flexible approach to working.
