As the central Business Intelligence team in Aviva UK Insurance, we are currently embarking on a new and exciting strategy, working in conjunction with other UK businesses and functions. Our mission is to create the best BI and analytics capability, not only in Aviva, but in our industry.

You will be responsible for:

Management of BI Delivery to our internal businesses and functions and to our external partners and regulators;Working as part of a large team the role holder will be responsible for driving forward key areas of our strategy which include:The elimination of technical debt,The enhancement of our BI Services,Transformation of BI delivery from BI Manufacturing to BI as a Service,Development of a highly skilled and motivated team,Management of Risk and Governance controls,Stakeholder and relationship management to an exceptional professional standard.Partnering with stakeholders across UK Businesses and Functions, including Business Leadership teams, CISO, CIO and Data Warehouse;Managing relationships with software providers, including procurement management;Large scale project and virtual team management.Skills & Experience required

Accuracy and attention to detail;Strong organisational skills;Ability to work to tight deadlines;Ability to work within the Aviva “Project” framework including experience of Agile delivery methodology / approach;Proven communication and interpersonal skills;Requirements analysis, database design, specification and development of solutions, common project lifecycles;Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management qualities;Proven experience working in a data information capacity.Additional information
